All the flicker and no real flame with these everlasting t-candles. These battery powered T-candles will last for over 80 hours before the battery needs to be replaced. They are advertised elsewhere as 100 hour Tea Brites, but in our independent testing we have found the flame flickers bright for about 80 hours and although it lasts up to 100 hours, we would recommend replacing the battery at around 80 hours to retain the brightest flicker. These “forever” tea lights are easy to use and flicker like real tea lights but are much safer for floral arrangements, craft use, holiday decorating, in-store use, tealight lamps, votive cups and they won’t blow out when used in outdoor settings. Amber LEDs provide the flickering flame and the white plastic base is molded to look exactly like a white tealight candle. Convienent on/off switch on the bottom, a replaceable lithium battery and real long-lasting flicker.
There are cheaper Tea Brites and Battery LED tea candles on the market but they are the disposable kind that have a sealed battery that is not replaceable, and they only last about 24 hours.
There are also cheaper battery tealights that have replaceable batteries but they only flicker for 24 hours before the battery needs replacing. We found one company selling them that stated the manufacturer says they last “up to” 50 hours but this company said they couldn’t verfity that because they never tested them. Do you want to buy from a company that doesn’t even test what they sell?
