Increase the fragrance by placing the diffuser in a high-traffic area, or in line with a draft, which will “waft” or carry the aroma. Aroma reed diffusers last for months. If you don’t buy a reed difuser from us, please read this so you can make an informed decision no matter where you purchase from. Many (nearly all) retailers selling reed difusers are either boasting that they use “uncut” oils or boasting that the oils are mixed with (or cut with) DPG to make them disperse more fragrance into the air. Do not buy difuser sets that contain DPG (Di-Propylene Glycol). DPG is an additive that helps fragrance oil adhere to, stick to, or sink into a porous surface, such as incense sticks or potpourri. DPG is also used to dilute fragrance oils for use in skin products such as soaps, bath oils & body lotions. It is also used to “stretch” fragrance oils for use in making cheap scented candles. The problem is, you do not want the fragrance oil to adhere to the reeds. Fragrance oil should “wick” up the reed, travel freely up the reed and be released into the air. DPG inhibits this. On the othe hand, uncut fragrance oils are viscous (thick) and also will not work well for very long. The oil will soak into the reed and that’s it. The fragrance stops there, clogging the reeds. Experienced perfumers and fragrance chemists that make our difuser oils have formulated scent oils that freely “wick” up the reed and through capillary action, continuously travel up the reed and into the air. It is imperative the reeds be flipped, or turned upside down often to prevent dust particles from adhering to the surface, clogging the reeds, and blocking the scent. We recommened the reeds be flipped every other day, it’s simple and takes about 3 seconds to ensure months of continuous fragrance. Don’t be fooled by kits that claim to last 6 months. The oil should “wick up” quicker than that, and if it doesn’t the oil is being impeded. Either the sticks are not “reed” fiber (they may be wood or bamboo which will not work) or the fragrance oil was not specifically made for reed difusing (capillary action). If you still have fragrance oil left after 3 months then replace your reeds altogether. Fresh reeds that are flipped frequently will disperse fragrance quickly and effectively use up the oil (provided properly formulated fragrance was used to begin with).

All the flicker and no real flame with these everlasting t-candles. These battery powered T-candles will last for over 80 hours before the battery needs to be replaced. They are advertised elsewhere as 100 hour Tea Brites, but in our independent testing we have found the flame flickers bright for about 80 hours and although it lasts up to 100 hours, we would recommend replacing the battery at around 80 hours to retain the brightest flicker. Size: 1 3/8" across and 1" high. These “forever” tea lights are easy to use and flicker like real tea lights but are much safer for floral arrangements, craft use, holiday decorating, in-store use, tealight lamps, votive cups and they won’t blow out when used in outdoor settings. Amber LEDs provide the flickering flame and the white plastic base is molded to look exactly like a white tealight candle. Convienent on/off switch on the bottom, a replaceable lithium battery and real long-lasting flicker. There are cheaper Tea Brites and Battery LED tea candles on the market but they are the disposable kind that have a sealed battery that is not replaceable, and they only last about 24 hours. There are also cheaper battery tealights that have replaceable batteries but they only flicker for 24 hours before the battery needs replacing. We found one company selling them that stated the manufacturer says they last “up to” 50 hours but this company said they couldn’t verfity that because they never tested them.
