Decorating Tip:
The lower the candle sits inside the holder, the more the flame will flicker and reflect through the holder instead of the flame towering above the holder.

For table decorations use the smallest size votive that will work for the hours you need it. A smaller size votive will let the flame show through the glass holder.

Never burn tea light candles inside votive cups! Only votives should be burned in votive holders.

 With all votive candles and tea light candles, remember to trim the wick. If the candle’s flame is too tall you’ll notice a little smoke coming from the wick and should extinguish the candle and cut the wick down. Your votive candle will burn up to 25% longer just by trimming the wick every couple of hours. Always make sure the wick is right in the center of the votive candle.
