Tip:
Don’t throw away all those left over candles pieces or the candles that didn’t burn right. For wax left in jars or containers, freeze the container to more easily remove the wax then put it in your tart warmer. Use the wax in your tart warmer until the fragrance is gone and then toss it.

Each “potpourri crock pot” heats the wax using either a hot plate or light bulb. Replacement bulbs can be 25 watt, or 40 watt bulbs (we sell them). With the 40 watt bulb the scent will be stronger but for a shorter amount of time. Checkout these “flameless” wonders, safer to use than your coffee pot. After you put wax in the melter it is ok if you forget to turn it off. The wax never goes anywhere, it doesn’t evaporate. Eventually the wax will use up all of its fragrance and then you just add more. Put the cup in the freezer for 30 minutes and then the wax just pops right out. Add new wax chips and enjoy!

Our bulbs work in most all types of electric tart burners that use a light bulb to heat the wax. Our replacement bulbs provide all the heat needed to effectively warm the wax but they produce less glare than other types of bulbs. This feature, in particular, is nice for electric wax warmers that have holes around them because there is not as much glare.
