Candle-licious candles are hand crafted in our home in Elgin, Illinois. We’re about 35 miles
northwest of Chicago. Each candle is poured by hand using a very special formula. We have a wax blend that allows us to add more fragrance oil than most other
candles you can buy. We make a candle that burns clean and adds rich aroma to your room when you burn it.
We love candles. For years we bought what we thought were scented candles. But when we burned
them, we didn't smell anything. Sometimes, if we burned five or six candles at a time, we would notice a faint aroma, but overall, used candles mainly for ambiance.
We researched chandlery (the art of crafting wax candles), and started experimenting. We believed we could create a candle that would make our home smell as
wonderful as it made it look while it was burning.
We did.
Thanks mainly to the encouragement of our close friends, we now offer our candles for sale. Our
friends really do deserve credit. Thank you for burning our candles, and providing feedback to help us make the perfect candle. Thank you for testing scents, and
then telling us which ones were good, and which ones were not. Thank you for being honest, and not being shy about stating your observations. As we add new scents
and new products to our line of premium candles, we ask that all of our customers be honest, and let us know what is working, and what is not. We test burn every
batch before we sell them, however, circumstances will vary from home to home, depending on holder size (for votives), burn time, maintenance (trimming the wick),
and room conditions (fans, open window, air cleaner).
